This policy explains what information TG Token Gates collects when you use the website at tgtokengates.com or the Telegram bot @tg_token_gates_bot (together, "the Service"), and what we do with it.
01Information we collect
From the website:
- Usage data collected by Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location.
- The name, email address, and message you send through the contact form.
- The token, optional Telegram handle, and optional note you send when suggesting a net worth token, along with a one-way hash of your IP address that we use only to limit spam.
02Information the bot collects
- Your Telegram account details as provided by Telegram, such as your user ID, username, and display name.
- The chats the bot is added to, and membership events in those chats such as joins, removals, and whitelist status.
- Wallet addresses you verify, and the self-transfer transactions used to verify them.
- Public on-chain data about verified wallets, such as token balances, holdings, and their USD value.
- Payment records, such as the chain, amount, transaction hash, payment date, and the payout wallet addresses chat owners provide.
- Messages you send to the bot during setup, verification, payments, and support.
We never ask for, and never receive, your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet signatures.
03How we use information
- To run the Service: verifying wallets, checking gate requirements, admitting members, and running purges.
- To process access fees and payment gate payments, including forwarding payouts and returning refundable payments.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, for example by flagging wallets involved in suspicious activity.
- To respond to support requests and messages sent through the contact form.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so we can improve it.
04Public blockchain data
Wallet addresses and transactions are public by design. The Service reads this public data to check balances and confirm payments. We cannot alter or delete information that is recorded on a blockchain.
05Who we share information with
- Chat owners and admins see what they need to manage their chat, such as member access status and the payment records for their payment gates.
- Telegram, which delivers every message to and from the bot.
- Service providers that help us operate: Google Analytics, Formspree for the contact form, our hosting and database providers, and blockchain data and pricing providers such as Alchemy, Helius, TON Center, DexScreener, and CoinGecko.
- Authorities, where we are required to by law or need to protect the Service and its users.
We do not sell your personal information.
06Cookies
The website uses Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the website will continue to work.
07How long we keep information
We keep account and wallet information while you use the Service. A verified wallet stays linked until you remove it. Payment records are kept as long as needed for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to respond.
08Your choices
- Remove a verified wallet at any time from the bot's /wallets panel.
- Leave any gated chat, or stop using the bot.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete it, by emailing support@tgtokengates.com. Some records, such as payment records, may need to be kept, and on-chain data cannot be erased.
09Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
